Flashback Friday
Posted on Friday, August 27th, 2010 at 10:32 amToday in honor of going back to school, I really wanted to post one of the all-time greats of me and my siblings standing in front of the front door, wearing hideous back to school outfits and backpacks, ready for our first day. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of those pictures. None of them are digitized yet, so they’re in a box somewhere at my parents house. So this is what you get today: Two Canadian kids being indoctrinated on a visit to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. I think I was about 2 1/2 here and Alan must have been almost 4.

An awesome picture! Love it!
I don’t know what’s better, the photo, or the write-up explaining the photo!
Excuse me, but you never wore HIDEOUS back to school outfits. You were always the best dressed kids on that first day of school!
You kinda look like Ashton there.
SO CUTE!!!
That is hilarious. It reminds me of being on my mission and accidentally assigning the two Canadian missionaries to play and lead the music for the Fourth of July Zone Conference. Of course the music was patriotic and they refused to sing.
@Aunt Marilyn: Any outfits from that era were probably hideous even though they were the best clothes of the time
