Oregon Coast

Taylor had a half day on Wednesday so Nick left work a couple of hours early that day and we all headed for the coast. We had a great time! We built a bon fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. The beach was gorgeous. There was a little tunnel that went through a rock and took you to the other side where there was another beach.
The girls thought that was a really fun adventure.
We didn’t really spend any time in the water since it was freezing cold, but we had a good time playing in the sand.
You can tell by the look on his face that this kid was having fun!
For some reason, the boys thought that sticking their heads in the sand was a great idea.
I love how in this picture you can see both Nolan and Ashton with their heads in the sand.
When we left, the kids were screaming and we were all sandy and reeked of campfire smoke. I guess that means we had a good time.
